A Promise Made in Grief
Sil Batta Swad was born after I lost my brother, Kapil Kumar, whom I lovingly called Fauji. He served our nation in the Indian Armed Forces with pride, yet we lost him at a shockingly young age to severe diabetes and liver failure.
His untimely passing forced me to question what we consume daily under the guise of "healthy food." That search exposed how modern, high-speed industrial roller mills strip basic staple flours of their natural vitality, turning daily rotis into nutrient-empty, high-glycemic carbohydrates. Sil Batta Swad is our tribute to Fauji—a mission to bring back genuine, unadulterated, stone-ground nutrition to every Indian household.
